Loving the beats and funkiness of the bass. The guitar tones are sweet and lines you play are nice... what a great mix of sounds you have in this arrangement! The rap rock vocal style is cool too. ...I'm loving the lyrical content of this song! Impressive! WTG!

This is one cool sounding track. Great funky feel to it along with some trippy lyrics that gives it another edge to just someone rappin. There is style here. Glad to finally hear one of your tracks far 4 now. You were better than I could even imagine.

Very rich, smooth sounding production. Great commercial, mainstream songwriting...could easily make a main chart or be used in TV commercials. Very funky, love those breaks too - several influences here and I like the cross-over style at lot. I'll definitely look forward to hearing more!

It's cool! My only real criticism would be that the "go" part sounds a bit under powered. It could have used some more over dubs as well.

All of this is a bumpin’ good time, but the intro is especially fun. It was like someone had slipped something into my soda about...say...forty-five minutes before a Rankin/Bass Halloween special came on...and that’s a GOOD thing! A very good thing.
An upbeat, life-affirming lyric set to a wickedly funky backbeat; Eddie Hazelesque bonified guitaradelics; that early-ARP style synth...it all adds up to an inescapable sense of fun. It makes that thing of mine which is grooved insist upon being shaken.

Oooooh, I lieky! As soon as that drum beat started I was into the song! The funky guitar and bass is great and I like the harmonized vocals.
But the "Go"s need to be more..uhh...powered, like shadowjack said. They just seem a bit lifeless. That's the only thing I can tell you because everything else is GRREEEEAAAT Good job!

Not exactly what I expected considering your circle of DM friends. This is quite a “dancy” number with loads of cool sounds. Lyrics are great. Perhaps just me but my favorite parts are the little bits of clean AND distorted guitars that grace up with their presence every so subtly. Very cool tune!

lyrics are really outstanding. the go's are a little pitchy and weak as mentioned above. i dig the verses, very cool - a little gabriellesque imho. i dig the vibe runs. this song has such a fullness to it, nice job!

That's a juicy groove that you throw out. The various guitar parts support it real well. The wah- is classic funk and the other various screeches and scratches work as punctuation marks.
- the mix of the is a bit too far back and muffled for my poor little battered ears. I think that a bit more clarity there would turn up the heat one more notch. -
The production on the instruments is nice. Good balance between the various lines with each voice having some space to breath.
It gets the toes tapping and the head nodding .

I think the guitar in this is very impressive - not underplaying, yet not overplaying, and the general instrumentation is bang on. I echo all the positive comments above. I'd like to hear more instrumental fills, though. Maybe some saxes or brass to fill it out a little. Perhaps a slower instrumental middle-eight before breaking back out into the main tune would be a good idea. And I think the ending neds a little work, it's too anticlimatic. But still, this song has potential and a really great production, but with a little improvement it could be a whole lot better - it could be fucking amazing.

VERY VERY cool song, man! I've listened to it three or four times now. I like the mixture of elements you have here!! I'm reminded a bit of Nellie McKay's song "Sari" to a degree (check it out if you haven't heard it). It's a great contrast pair you've got up here, good good stuff!!

'silver spoon' prolly the only thing that reminds me cats in the cradle, but yea thats the first thing comes to my mind
lovely beats and xylophone-like synth work
awww ended already?
it sounds more than complete song considering its just 2:14 in length, but yea... for the end maybe u shud just fade out the 'go.... go... go' parts thats what i feel
nice one

Wicked, love it, I also found it quite humourous (i hope thats right)hehe. I didnt like the ending that much tho, possible endings, keep saying go and fade out, though I'd personally go (pun not intended) for saying one last go either louder or say a fifth up (or fourth down) - ah good ol' perfect cadential figures makes it sound a little more "complete". I give it a 7.9/10 (harsh yes I know lol). I'd give it probly an 8.5 or something if the ending sounded a little more complete... But at least you manage to finish your projects unlike me.

You got a great voice.

the weird harmonizing in the begining is really cool. i like the words a lot, they remind me of oysterhead (one of Les Claypools side bands...they rock).
the effect on the drum break thingy in there makes me really happy.
awesome track!
that synthy sorta marimba going upwards is really great.
love the whole thing.
the only thing i'd suggest is maybe too fade the ending, but other than that, it's perfect.

Oh man, really great stuff. The intro is one of the best things about this piece; don't afraid of using a recap (especially as a transition into an extended wicked percussion/synth breakdown)! Anyway, I enjoy the vocal style...it's reminding me powerfully of somebody, but I can't think of the guy right now!
Tight lyrics, and I agree w/ the sentiment: we ain't born with the silver spoon of artistic genius in our mouths...nah, we gotta work damn hard for all the masterpieces we put out. Well, here's recognizing your hard work
