really interesting approach to writing music. While this doesn't sound like him, reminds of the Zappa genre (...wait, is there a zappa genre??) I agree with Dixon on the transition from speaking to singing. it's great how the listener feels like they are listening to a story per se. very unique and cool track

Very cool...
Good rhythmic changes and production.
I agree in a more metal kind of way the intro vocals are like Zappa on Joe's' Garage (if you cupped your hands over your mouth and whispered it would be "The Central Scrutinizer"...)
good vocal performance
overall the eq could maybe be enhanced a few dB in the upper mids/highs to add a bit more crunch but over all very nice!

You sound kind of evil and dangerous here. Love the drums, and the lyrics are dark and ominous. Very nice!

Drums are really kicking! Those speaking vocals are really just evil man I think the guitars could be a bit louder and maybe a bit more treble too em would be nice. The singing vocals are great man! Excellent tune!

This is different...
Great backing and your voice has a kind of innocent darkness to it...
Works really well.
I love those harmonies.
You really do have a superb voice... very oringinal in tonal quality. I'd know your voice anywhere.
Great collab.

I like the unique approach that the vocals take on this. The music has a soaring celtic quality that takes the listener for a great ride. It sounds a bit like Suicidal Tendencies meets Spinal Tap doing a Zappa cover of some forgotten Jim Morrison poem. Very cool blend of influences.

Absolutely brilliant!! The vocals are excellent - dark, sinister and expertly delivered (love the tone and the diction is perfect). Great harmonies too. The music is amazing - wonderful arrangement, beautifully mixed. The lyrics are outstanding. The whole song works superbly - a real masterpiece. Can't wait to get my faster broadband service later this month...I MUST download this one Top class!

moving into heavier stuff, eh... i liiiike!
to me its like a soundtrack of a movie and voiceover which then turns into a song
percussion's pretty awesome
liking the dual vocals(harmonies and all)
the bells and things like that sure make it fuller, nice and subtle but needed

Don’t normally listen to music this heavy. Anyone else singing and this could come across as a little bit of a clichéd hell and heavy metal piece, but the delivery of the vox was just so cool that I ended up loving it. Rock and roll is alive and well.

Like the energy of the guitars sounds like a fun jam perfect for the strobes Your style is like Judas Priest the tune could be on Alice Cooper's Special Forces 1981 one of my faves Cool hardcore guitars with spoken word theatrical. Perfect production performance - great pace great song dude

I'm not much of a metal head, but I found this tune innerestin' all the way through. I like it when people take chances with their music and end up taking it to some cool new space. This one was experimentally cool, and worked.

Your singing voice in this reminds me a little bit of 'Jesus Christ Superstar' and that is a compliment as I think that musical has some great melodies and singing in it!
Music wise it reminds me of old Iron Maiden that I used to listen to, ow some 15 years ago. Jeez time flies!

Damn... Rock on... This is indeed your darkest track ever... It takes guts to do a song like this and you pulled it off well... Lyrics are quite dark for my taste, but still quite poetic and it fits the throbbing music perfectly... You guys did great... Awesome track!

I dig the melody and I agree, the delivery of the vocals is quite cool, I think though it would all be even more effective with the backing track turned up more in front, for instance with the help of a compressor. It would give it more energy I think!

Why the hell haven't I heard this yet??? Maybe cuz it's Tower of Silence Anyway (ahem) This is cool, I dig that spoken stuff and it's a very cool mix. I try to do thatspoken thing sometimes but then JM crawls outta the grave & cracks me across the head with a bottle of Jack Daniels, and brother that hurts. A LOT.
Anyway back to the tune. It is simply amazing. Awesome work and many congrats to all. Made my May Day today. Excellent lyrics, killer delivery, wow I could go on and on and on...

Relentless...the way the lyric progresses and the music that accompanies/drives it...both are relentless. Some songs hit you over the head with their message; others grind the point into your mind where it's likely to remain for a long, long time. This cautionary tale is a fine example of the latter, and one rockin' piece of music!
