The music that backs you up Gene here is just awesome.. What a canvas to write as sing to. Makes me inspire to work with others more myself as this is just so uniquely you but MonnieB's music has taken it to another place thats special. Those keys are just so full of heart.

There's a kind of gentle emotion in the music that Monnie produced - very soulful, yet reflective. The vocals/lyrics really enhance this beautifully. You two have achieved a fantastic rapport with this track - the perfect blend. Great job!

cool song, nice drum groove and vocal tracks, effects are kept to a minimum which adds for clean mixing

Very smooth track. Wonderful vocal arrangement and the feel of the whole song is so warm and ambient. great rhythm accompanies the mood so well. This is very very cool

The contributions from each come together in a well rounded whole.
I think that I would have liked to have that guitar solo a tiny bit louder in the mix but that's not terribly important.
The guitar flutters on top of the synth pads in an effective way. Nice and dreamy. The percussion adds a little bit of agitation to keep the mellow from being exagerated. Good overall balance of the various elements.
Good work from both of you.

This would be a great theme for a children's program of some uplifting sort. I'm not sure what it is exactly that gives it that quality...the otherworldly harmonies, the strongly simple/simply strong hookyness, the unflappable optimism...but it sounds like it would be a great soundtrack for something designed to entertain kids without driving their parents nuts.

Bass and beats have me groovin. I love the vocals on this. they have a twilight/dreamlike quality about that is that just soothes my soul.

Whoa, what a cool, smooth sound on the synth. I love the sound of the vocals. The faster vocal part in the beginning was really cool. The harmonies really work well. The whole piece has a really calm soothing atmosphere that is truly enjoyable.

this song is so nice and chill. when i first heard the vocals, i was like: "ahh, yeah!" this actually reminds me of the kind of song they would play as background music in one of those upscale 5th ave. stores. (and i mean that as a compliment!) this song is really THAT good... and your lyrics are definitely true!

ok so far this is my favorite. There is some great stuff going on. it's kinda hard to pull it all out cause a lot of it seem to be sitting in the center of the stereo field. but man I put the good headphones on and wow. some great backing lead tones in this one and the vocals are just beautiful and amazing. Love the harmonies the easy feel to the vocals that just flow. oh yeah this one has plenty of bottom end. great song

Agreeing with gtr1960 -- the best one so far. I've always had a soft spot for dual tempo songs, in this case a ballad riding a smooth trail of fast groove, almost like the clatter of rails in a train ride.

Wow the stereo field is so wide music tone is so pleasurable love the break @1:00 a quicky it's always nice to go away and come back early in a song it works great here. Gene nice job on the vox your best I've heard so far the are lyrics positive and uplifting Monnie this music is amazing wow The keys at the end sounding like a xylophone give the fast smooth pace of the song a rainy feel like lookin' out of a train window at the silent rain sweeping by  Nice track definitely CD &  worthy

monnie you know i love love love your synth's and you choice of beautiful notes   and this is no different , such dreamy textures....
and gene those lyrics really fit the vibe man "just live for today" AWESOME!! love the way you blended the vioces together and i think i detected some oh so subtle guitar work floating etherialy through the piece as well... now thats just the right icing to this already dreamy delicious piece great great great work here !!!!
