A classic. One of my favorites of there tunes. The vocals are great, like really great! And the harmonies
Great guitar playing too. Love the solo piece, very
My only criticism is the mix/production. It's a bit rough and foggy in some areas but not bad. It's still very easy to listen too, and fall inlove with the classic all over again.

The memories......
Ah, one of my favorite Floyd tunes.
Beautiful clean tone on the guitar.
Vocals are very cool.

...'my hands felt like two balloons'...
...'just a little pin prick'...
The Gilmore interpretation is a bit rough in spots. It may be because that solo is so ingrained in my head, that I expect the blazing solo without the bluesy counter melody you've added here.
The ending sounds like something from 'Wish You Were Here'. Excellent touch in making it sound like it was coming from a 10 watt speaker.

I think you captured the flavor of the original, but still made it your own. And that's what a cover should do. Nice vocals, Gene!! Snagged it already for me own personal use, mateys! Nothing beats a keeper, you know.

Man, I'll really love the vocals. They just remind me of David Gilmour, live at the Royal Festival Hall. I'm digging the first solo, but not too much when the two guitar mix together in the solo. I like the second solo too, but I'd like to hear Gene a little higher in the mix :groove:
And yeah, I agree with whoever said the end sounds like the beggining of Wish You Were Here

Oh shit i couldn't wait for the weekend to check this out and I'm really glad i didn't wait as this is just so amazing. I was already impressed with the guitar work on the track posted by Jay. Make you make this shit cool. Better than a cover band trying to interpret the original by fucking miles...this version really offers an real edge...
Fantastic effort and just totally crazy. Very happy to see this hit number 1 in the D Music Charts as its a fucking classic!!!

Good job
The bluesy guitar is playing a lil "faster" than the song mood and uses some minor pentatonic notes that are a bit out of the general mood .

classic 'far for' vocals with some non-stop guitarlead... the guy's lost in his own world, can almost see him keep going after the song's done; "O we're done?"

This is my favorite Pink Floyd song.
I like the doubling on the vocals.
I also like the light touch to the production--makes me want to hear a fully unplugged one on a 12 string.
I always have trouble hitting the high notes on the refrain, but that's not an issue for y'all.
This is a fun cover.

This is one of my favourite Pink Floyd tracks, If Mr Gilmore could hear this he would be very proud. Love the voice and love the guitar. I really like the way you have a jazzy sounding guitar going on in the background there, it gives it extra flavour Oh yes I shall be back to re-listen to this. And I love the way you fade it out at the end.

I enjoyed listening to this song. Pink Floyd's "The Wall" was always a favorite of mine and this is one of the best songs on there. The vocals and the guitars are very strong but I wish I heard more keyboards. But then again, I'm a keyboard person so I can always tell when it's missing. Congrats on such an excellent cover!
