I heard this on the Pirates page and,just
had to write some lyrics for it!Performance on this collab~ the Pirate
does Drums,Bass and all guitar work~I've added lead & support vocals..we hope everyone enjoys...this was originally the
captain ditty 3 and is posted on the Pirates page...

Nice lyric, a neat vocal and a short but firefingers lead to boot. A fine performance all round and a very pleasing listen. Damn catchy in fact, the chorus will be lodged in my mind all day.

great collab from you both. i just became aware of pirate's "ditty's" - complete songs in and of themselves - but with your lyrics and added leads this is a smash hit - great hook, vox and music - arrangment is a knockout.

This is very kewl. I knew Pirates tunes were perfect for vocal additions and ripe for collaborations.
I think is really good. A perfect fit - just looking for a place and time to come together... Great Job on this.... Very Well Done

Thank you Mike but, the Pirate does all guitar work~guess my description was a little vague~ I wrote the lyrics and do the vocals didn't think I needed to add
any more instruments to his original work.

Very nice melody I like the drums in this a lot, just how they were arranged...adds a unique sound to the song. Music is pro. Vocals are kick ass.  I really dig the vocal harmonies. Oh and nice solo around 2:00!! Very nice break. I really really love the chorus in this song. Seems like something you can just close your eyes to and drift away with. Dude, I think this is your best track, definitely  Downloaded!

Mmmm, I'm liking the intro of this song alot
I'd like to hear the vocals turned up a lil notch  The harmonies are absolutely beautiful  and feel quite magical  Very nice work far4for
Thinking of the instrumental track on its own, I'm liking the slow slides a whole lot on the guitar They're so soothening to my ear This was definately begging for lyrics and vocals Nice work on the instrumental composition

I cant put my finger on it but the vocals seem to be missing dome body.... maybe low range boost?
This is my 3rd listen and the song wears good i just keep getting the feeling that the vocals would really pop if it had a little more low end to it.

input on this song,I took you up on your suggestion that I shouldn't use fx on my vocals and I think that worked out but as I read other comments I'm aware that their
may be other issues so next time you visit

Lovely melody, and really good harmonising too. I do think the vocals could be a little more prominent in the mix, though. The electric guitar parts are great. Is that an e-bow you're using? Excellent solo too. This is really well constructed song - no messing about either, all done and dusted in 3 minutes! Really good work

this first thing that catches me with this is the great vocal melody, it seems to weave effortlessly through the progression , nice harmonies too. great solo to cap it all off!! great listen.

Nice floating ambiance and soaring harmonies.
It kinda reminds me of some of George Harrison's solo stuff.

Hey Gene and Pirate this is such a great sounding track. I love songs that make me just feel great and this is exactly that. Great guitar progression and excellent melody over the top. beautiful harmonies. I'm having a 2nd listen now and am already singing along. Very catchy track. Thanx, this has brighten what was turning out to be an other wise dark day.

this is so very smooth and sweet. Those vocals are really nice, there's something special there that I can't really describe but I really like it. Lovely tune. Great job!

Much of what I like most about this piece is one sort of undercurrent or another. That violinish legato guitar does wonderful things for the melody, and the vocal harmonies lend SO much presence without taking up a lot of sonic real estate. The overall vibe fits really well with the lyric without resorting to any gimmicky stylistic affectations.
Deceptively simple and succinct, just like the main metaphorical theme.
